Two Hefajat assistant secretary generals placed on 21-day remand
DHAKA, April 21, 2021 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today placed two assistant secretary generals of Hefajat-e-Islam on total 21-day remand each in three cases of vandalism filed with capital’s Motijheel and Paltan Police Stations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid passed the order as police produced Shakhawat Hossain Raji and Manjurul Islam Afendi before the court after end of their five-day remand in another case.
After that police pleaded for a total 30-day remand each in three vandalism cases lodged with Motijheel and Paltan Police Stations. After hearing the police plea, the court placed them on total 21-day remand in the three cases.
