Health department should have more preparation: GM Quader
DHAKA, April 20, 2021 (BSS) – Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy
Leader of the Opposition in Parliament GM Quader today said in a
statement that the health department should have more preparations
before stared of the second wave of coronavirus infection.
“The number of death is increasing day by day. The people of the
country have become helpless because of the existing Medicare system,”
he said in the statement.
He said that many of the patients suffering from Corona need life
support or immediate oxygen supply, but as there is no ICU in most of
the districts’ the victims need to make rush to the capital.
Stating that the failure of the health department cannot be
accepted, he said, “General people suffering from other diseases are
not getting treatment as the number of coronavirus infection is on the
rise. Measures should be taken for those suffering from other
diseases.”
