KHULNA, April 20, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 48,629 people got the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as 5,595 more people were inoculated today with the second dose in the district.
A total of 5,595 people received COVID-19 vaccines in the district today as the second dose vaccination campaign was launched on April 7.
Of them, 2,539 people of the city corporation took the vaccine and 3,056 people from nine upazilas of the district received the second jab, said Khulna civil surgeon Dr Niaz Mohammad.
A total of 48,629 people including 32,157 male and 16,472 females received second dose of corona vaccine in the city and the district so far.
“The vaccination drive is conducted at two hospitals in Khulna city and nine upazila hospitals in the district,” the civil surgeon said.
Besides, the first dose of coronavirus inoculation is continuing in Khulna two public hospitals and nine upazila health complexes. A total of 513 people today received their first dose of the vaccine, said Dr Niaz Mohammad.
