RAJSHAHI, April 20, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 1,76,332 people received second doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the city and all eight districts under Rajshahi division in the last ten days since April 8.
Of them, 17,051 people including 6,375 females took the second jab today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health.
He also said 2,323 including 864 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,195 people including 419 females in Rajshahi district, 1,234 including 431 females in Chapainawabganj, 1,695 including 676 females in Natore and 3,531 people including 1,358 females in Naogaon have been inoculated.
Besides, a total of 2,190 persons including 819 females got vaccines in Pabna, 1,577 including 565 females in Sirajganj, 2,302 including 872 females in Bogura and 1,004 including 371 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
On the other hand, a total of 6,46,180 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in all eight districts of the division till today since the countrywide vaccination programme began on February 7.
Of them, 1,520 people including 591 females were inoculated today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder.
