Khalid mourns death of actor Wasim
DHAKA, April 18, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of noted actor Wasim.
In a condolence message, the minister said once upon a time Wasim was a superstar hero of the Dhakai cinema. He acted in 152 films, including some super hit movies, he added.
Khalid said eminent film actor Wasim will remain alive in hearts of the people of Bangladesh through his acting.
The state minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Wasim breathed his last at a hospital in the city today at the age of 71. He was suffering from various old-age complications.
