BTCL converts 1,700 numbers to 8-digit in Goran
DHAKA, July 19, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited
(BTCL) is going to convert 1,700 telephone numbers in city’s Goran area to 8-
digit number aimed at providing modern and quality services.
All seven-digit numbers of “781” group will be replaced by the new 8-digit
number from today’s midnight gradually, said a BTCL press release.
It said first three-digit of the old number will be replaced by “4729”
while the existing last four-digit will be the same.
Customers are requested to call 7275555 or 01550151805 for any query.
BTCL authority regretted to its customers for the inconvenience, the
release added.
