Alem-Ulemas blame Hefazat-e-Islam for creating chaos in country
DHAKA, April 17, 2021 (BSS) – A total 51 Alem-Ulemas, in a written statement, today blamed Hefazat-e-Islam for creating anarchy in the country in the name of Islam.
The statement signed in the name of ‘Alem Samaj’ was published in several newspapers of the country yesterday.
In fact, the statement is a statement from the current leaders of “Hefazat-e-Islam. The statement is false and fabricated with all sorts of allegations and purpose-oriented, a total 51 Alem-Ulemas said in their statement today.
The 51-Alem-Ulemas also added that the main purpose of the statement is to create an unstable environment in the country by using the religious sentiments of the devout Muslim community and to cover up anti-Islamic activities and misdeeds of their (Hefazat-e-Islam) leadership at different levels against the country.
Hefazat-e-Islam carried out destructive and terrorist activities across the country from March 25-26 in the name of defending Islam on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence and the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, said in the statement.
Criticizing the false leadership of Hefazat, the Alem-Ulemas said that leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam are not only the enemies of Islam but the enemies of the country and the world.
As all of their hypocrisies have been exposed to the countrymen, they have resorted to false statements in this holy month of Ramadan to cover up their misdeeds by using their religious sentiments for the sake of Islam, said Alem-Ulemas.
The ‘Alem-Samaj’ urged all the Muslim brothers and sisters in the country to be vigilant against all these hypocritical and seditious religious businessmen (Hefazat-e-Islam).
