DHAKA, April 17, 2021 (BSS) – Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of veteran actress and former member of the parliament Sarah Begum Kabori.
In a condolence message, the speaker prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed her sympathy to the bereaved family members.
In separate condolence messages, Deputy Speaker M Fazley Rabbi Miah and Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul, a press release said.
National Award winning Actress Kabori passes away early hours today at the age of 70.
She had recently tested positive for Covid-19. She was put on life support at the capital’s Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital on April 15.
