Testimony ends in Floyd murder trial, closing arguments Monday
MINNEAPOLIS, April 16, 2021 (BSS/AFP) – The prosecution and defense rested their case on Thursday in the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd and the judge set closing arguments for Monday.
Chauvin, 45, is facing murder and manslaughter charges for the May 25, 2020 death of Floyd, which was captured on video and sparked protests against racial injustice and police brutality around the world.
