Female students outnumber male counterparts in pass rate
DHAKA, Aug 19, 2018 (BSS) – Female students in the HSC (Higher Secondary
Certificate) and equivalent examinations have outnumbered the male students
in terms of pass rate this year.
According to the results published here today, percentage of pass of
female students is 69.72 while that of the male students is 63.88. On an
average 66.64 percent of examinees passed examinations under 10 education
boards of the country.
As many as 6,80,848 male students participated in the examination while
the number of female students was 6,07,909 it added.
