76,727 people get 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, April 13, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 76,727 people received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the city and all eight districts under Rajshahi division in the last five days since April 8 .
Of them, 23,729 people including 8,022 females took the second jab today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health.
He also said 3,334 including 1,061 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,450 people including 481 females in Rajshahi district, 1,869 including 598 females in Chapainawabganj, 2,489 including 934 females in Natore and 3,551 people including 1,246 females in Naogaon have been inoculated.
Besides, a total of 2,478 persons including 820 females got vaccines in Pabna, 2,575 including 828 females in Sirajganj, 4,443 including 1,547 females in Bogura and 1,550 including 527 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
On the other hand, a total of 6,38,984 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in all eight districts of the division till today since the countrywide vaccination programme began on February 7.
Of them, 2,870 people including 1,197 females were inoculated today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder.
