DHAKA, April 12, 2021 (BSS) – The second phase of hearing of urgent
(criminal) bail applications without any physical presence in lower
courts and tribunals across the country has started from today in
order to prevent the increasing number of Corona infection cases.
Supreme Court spokesman and special officer Mohammad Saifur Rahman
confirmed the matter to BSS.
“Today, a total of 2,433 bail applications were disposed of in the
virtual hearings in lower courts across the country and bail was
granted to 1,604 detainees,” he said.
