DHAKA, April 12, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain directed the field administration and law enforcement agencies to take proper measures for implementing the strict lockdown announced by the government from April 14-21 due to the increased number of Covid-19 cases.
“The field administration, especially the district and upazila administrations and the law enforcement agencies have been directed to take effective and necessary steps to ensure that everyone abides by the health rules and regulations,” he said in a video message today.
The state minister also presented the instructions for the law enforcement agencies in the video.
Earlier, a notification was issued by the Cabinet Division imposing restrictions and 13 regulations on the movement of people and other activities for seven days in a bid to improve the situation and enforce the lockdown.
