HABIGANJ, April 11, 2021 (BSS) – Agricultural machineries and equipments were distributed among farmers under Sadar and Shaistaganj upazilas of the district today.
Lawmaker Md Abu Zahir distributed the machineries as the chief guest at a function held on Sadar upazila Parishad premises this afternoon with Sadar upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Shakhawat Hossain in the chair.
The function was addressed, among others, by Shaistaganj upazila Parishad Chairman Abdur Rashid Talukder Iqbal, Vice Chairman Mahbubur Rahman Awal, Zilla Parishad Member Abdul Mukit, Mohila Vice Chairman Ferdous Ara Begum and Agriculture Officer Sukanta Dhar.
Ten combine harvester cost of Taka 3 crore and 5 reapers worth Taka 5 lakh were distributed in the function.
