CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 11, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1.8 kilograms of heroin from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Md. Nazir Islam, 22, of Gathapara village under Sundarpur union of the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Kashiadanga village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila around 12.30 pm and nabbed Nazir with the contraband drugs, RAB sources said.
Later, the arrested was handed over to the police of sadar thana with a case.
