Speaker condoles death of Prince Philip
DHAKA, April 9, 2021 (BSS) – Speaker of the Parliament and former chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed deep shock at the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
In a message of condolence, she prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved royal family.
Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II and a leading figure in the British royal family for almost seven decades, died on Friday at the age of 99.
