CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 9, 2021 (BSS)- À total of 226 people took the second dose of Corona vaccine on the first day of the second dose of vaccination in the district yesterday.
Meanwhile, 48,861 people of the district have taken first dose of the vaccine, according to the Chapainawabganj Civil Surgeon office sources.
Of them, 15,043 people in sadar upazila, 18,723 in Shibganj upazila, 7,655 in Gomostapur upazila, 4,407 in Nachole upazila and 3,033 in Bholahat upazila have been vaccinated, the sources added.
The sources further added that 90 percent vaccination of the target for the first dose has been completed.
The Civil Surgeon of the district Dr Jahid Nazrul Chowdhury said, vaccination of the first dose would continue side by side with the second dose.
