Police secure bronze in hockey
DHAKA, Apr 8, 2021 (BSS)-Bangladesh Police hockey team secured bronze in the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games men’s hockey defeating Bangladesh Air Force by 3-1 goals in the penalty shootout held today at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
The match rolled into a shoot out after the regulation time ended in a goalless draw.
In the shootout, Shishir, Nayeem and Shuvo scored one goal each while Taher missed for Police.
On the other hand, Sabedur scored one goal while Rakib, Ashraful Alom and Raju Ahmed Topu missed for the Air Force.
