63 people fined for flouting COVID-19 safety rules in Dinajpur
DINAJPUR, April 8, 2021 (BSS) – Four mobile courts of the district administration today fined 63 people Taka 31,500 in different upazilas, including the district headquarters, for flouting Covid-19 health safety guidelines .
According to the district administration sources, four teams conducted the raids in four upazilas including the district town and fined 63 people Taka 31,500 for not wearing masks, keeping business establishments opened and moving outside without any specific reason.
Additional district magistrate Md. Ashiq Iqbal and upazila executive magistrates of the four upazilas led the drives .
The mobile courts also distributed masks among the poor and helpless people free of cost.
Additional district magistrate Md. Ashiq Iqbal told BSS that the number of corona infected people is increasing day by day as people are found reckless and reluctant to maintain health safety guidelines and other rules , set by the government .
The district administration is conducting mobile courts to create massive awareness among the people for containing the surge of Covid-19.
