Coaching center fined for defying ban in Lalmonirhat
LALMONIRHAT, April 7, 2021 (BSS) – A mobile court today fined
Village Coaching Center Taka 16,000 on charge of running coaching
business in BTC company area in Sarpukur union under Aditmari upazila
of the district defying a government ban to curb coronavirus spread.
Executive Magistrate and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Muhammad
Monsur Uddin conducted the raid this morning.
During the raid, the owner of the coaching center Nurun Nabi Huda
was fined Taka 10,000 and three teachers were fined each Tk 2,000.
The UNO told BSS that the number of Corona infected people is
increasing each day as people are reluctant in maintaining health
guidelines.
The district administration is conducting mobile court to create
awareness among people about the spread of COVID-19. The mobile court
will continue similar drives in future, he added.
Later, the court sealed off the coaching center.
