88 more test positive for COVID-19 in Bogura
BOGURA, April 6, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 88 people were tested
positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours after diagnosing 401
samples at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital COVID-19 PCR
Lab and TMSS PCR Lab as the trend of the lethal virus rising here
suddenly.
Among them, 83 were in Sadar upazila, three in Adamdighi upazila,
one in Sherpur upazila and one in Dhupchanchia upazila of the
district.
The total number of infected people in the district stood at 10,587
and the number of recovery cases stood at 9,860, said Deputy Civil
Surgeon Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin this afternoon.
The health experts of the district urged all to follow the health
rules strictly and use masks to prevent spread of new wave of the
lethal virus.
Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin said the infected
persons are now undergoing treatment at Hospital.
He urged everyone to be more aware to prevent this infection.
