Fourteen men’s singles matches of badminton held
DHAKA, Apr 6, 2021 (BSS)- Fourteen men’s singles matches of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games Badminton event were decided today at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indor Stadium.
In the day’s men’s singles matches, Gourab Singho (Sylhet district), SSM Sifat Ullah Galib (Chottogram district), Shuvo Khandokar (Bangladesh Ansar), SSM Sazzad Ullah (Chattogram district), Gazi Noor Alom Tushar (Gopalganj district), Mohammad Fahim (Bangladesh Police), Salman Khan (Bangladesh Ansar), Solaiman Akib (Chattogram district), Mohammad Minhaj (Shoriotpur district), KM Suad (Pirojpur district), Mohammad Lokman (Bangladesh Ansar), Anamul Haque Anam (Sylhet district), Al Amin Jumar (Bangladesh Army) and Nazmul Islam Joy (Pirojpur district) won their matches after beating their respective rivals.
In the women’s doubles event, Dola Borua and Dulali Halder pair of Bangladesh Ansar and Arina Parvin and Rehana Khatun pair of Bangladesh Army won their matches after beating their respective rivals.
In the women’s singles event, Rehana Khatun of Bangladesh Army beat Sakura Takahasi of Rajshahi district by 21-5, 21-5 . The other matches of this event were going on when the last report came this evening.
