DHAKA, April 6, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Awami Swechhasebak League today started free ambulance service for carrying Covid-19 patients and dead bodies all across the country.
Joint General Secretary of Awami League AFM Bahauddin Nasim inaugurated the free ambulance service programme as the chief guest at Kalabagan ground in the city, said a press release.
Speaking at the programme, he said, “Those who set fire on houses, suspend railway movement and create anarchy when the nation celebrated the golden jubilee of independence and the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, are more heinous than occupation forces.”
“We have to be aware and united so that no evil force can destroy the harmony of our country,” he added.
Swechhasebak League President Nirmal Ranjan Guh, General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu, Vice-President Gazi Mesbaul Hossain Shachhu, Joint General Secretary Nafiul Karim Nafa, Office Secretary Azizul Huq Aziz were present, among others.
