Two gold medals decided in archery
DHAKA, April 5, 2021 (BSS) – Two gold medals were decided in archery
event of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games today.
Held at archery training center of Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master
Stadium in Tongi, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) won gold
in recurve mixed team event final beating Dhaka Army Archery Club by
6-0 set.
While in the compound mixed team event final Bangladesh Ansar
defeated BKSP 148-145 to secure the gold medal.
The gold medal deciding matches of eight events will be held
tomorrow (Tuesday) at the same venue.
A total of 175 men’s and women’s archers from 41 teams including
different district sports associations, services associations, BKSP
and clubs from across the country are taking part in the recurve and
compound division.
