1, 67,553 get COVID-19 vaccines in Khulna
KHULNA, Apr 5, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 1, 67,553 people
so far got COVID-19 vaccines in Khulna division .
Of them, 99,312 are male and 68,241 are female , said Khulna civil surgeon (CS) Dr Niaz Mahmud to BSS today.
Besides, 219 people received vaccination in the district today on the first day of week-long lock down .
“The vaccination drives are going on in two hospitals in Khulna city and
nine upazila health complexes in the district ,” the CS said .
Meanwhile, the first day of the week-long lockdown passed off peacefully in the city and district .
“Separate mobile teams are seen conducting drives against those who violate government instructions issued to contain huge surge of COVID -19 death and infections , Deputy Commissioner of Khulna Md Helal Hossain told BSS,
