24 more test positive for COVID-19 in Bhola
BHOLA, April 5, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 24 people were tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours after diagnosing 62 samples at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital COVID-19 laboratories as the trend of the lethal virus rising here suddenly.
Among them, 15 were in Sadar upazila, six in Lalmohan upazila, two in Borhanuddin upazila and one in Daulatkhan upazila of the district.
The total number of infected in the district stood at 1,185 persons, said Civil Surgeon of the district Dr Syed Rezaul Islam this afternoon.
The health experts of the district urged all to follow the health rules strictly and use masks to prevent spread of new wave of the lethal virus.
Dr Syed Rezaul Islam said the infected persons are now undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors from their respective upazila health complexes.
He urged everyone to be more aware to prevent this infection.
