Bangladesh Games men’s basketball event begins
DHAKA, April 4, 2021 (BSS) – Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games men’s basketball event has begun from today at Dhanmondi basketball gymnasium in the city.
Three matches were decided on the first day of the meet.
In the day’s first match, Bangladesh Navy defeated Gazipur district by 128-40 points after leading the first half by 70-14 points.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Army beat Jashore district by 111-23 points after leading the first half by 54-7 points.
In the day’s third match, Khulna district edged past Dhaka district by 58-55 points after dominating the first half by 26-21 points.
Earlier, Bangladesh Basketball Federation president Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
