Bourses change trading hours from tomorrow
DHAKA, April 4, 2021 (BSS) – Trading at the bourses – Dhaka Stock
Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will begin at 10am
and continue till 12 noon from tomorrow amid lockdown declared by
the government to halt sharp rise of COVID-19 in the country.
The new schedule will be continued until further notice, said a separate
press release today.
Besides, DSE has encouraged the investors to trade through online
platform to reduce the risk of getting infected with the deadly virus.
The government today issued a notification for imposing lockdown from
April 5 to April 11 to halt sharp rise of COVID-19 in the country.
According to the notification, movement of public transports — bus,
train, launch and plane — will remain suspended while public and
private offices and business establishments will be closed during the
lockdown.
