Brahmanbaria in women’s football final
DHAKA, April 4, 2021 (BSS) – Brahmanbaria district has reached the women’s football final of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games by defeating Rajshahi District 4-3 in a tiebreaker at Birshrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium.
The match between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw after the scheduled time.
Brahmanbaria took the lead in the 42nd minute through a goal by Jasmine Akhter. Sankranti Biswas equalized Rajshahi in the 47th minute. In the end, Brahmanbaria won the tiebreaker.
