President mourns death of ex-PIO Harun-ar-Rashid
DHAKA, April 4, 2021 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former Principal Information Officer (PIO) Harun-ar-Rashid.
In a condolence message, the head of the state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Harun passed away last night while undergoing treatment at a city hospital at the age of 75.
He left behind two sons and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Harun-ar-Rashid was diagnosed with Covid-19. He was laid to eternal rest at Rayerbazar Intellectual Graveyard in Mirpur.
