Fatema wins gold in fencing
DHAKA, April 3, 2021 (BSS)- Bangladesh Navy’s Fatema Mujib won gold in the women’s Sabre event of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games fencing held today at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
She beat her teammate Chandi Akter by 15-14 points in the final.
Fatema secured the gold of her first appearance in the Bangladesh Games.
Earlier, she won the gold in the same event in 2019 SA Games held in Kathmandu.
