Chattogram Div. win gold in women’s basketball
DHAKA, April 3, 2021 (BSS)- Chattogram division won gold medal in Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games women’s basketball event held today at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city.
Chattogram emerged top by winning all four matches with 12 points and Rangpur Division bagged the silver with seven points while Khulna Division collected bronze medal with three points.
On the way of winning gold, Chattogram Division earlier beat Dhaka Division by 8-6 points, defeated Rajshahi Division by 14-2 points, outplayed Khulna Division by 9-8 points and beat Rangpur Division by 7-5 points.
A total of five divisional teams took part in the championship, which has been included for the first time in the Bangladesh Games.
