Fire kills three in Cox’s Bazar

COX’S BAZAR, April 2, 2021 (BSS) – Three Rohingyas were killed and seven shops gutted as a fire broke out in the makeshift Kutupalong Bazar near a Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar in the early hours of today.

The deceased were identified as Ansar Ullah, 20, Faridul Islam, 25, and Ayas, 22, who used to work in a shop in the market.

Being informed the fire fighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control in their around three-hour efforts, said Ukhiya Fire Service Station in-charge Imdadul Haque.

He said the cause of the fire could not be known yet.
