Ctg district senior election officer dies of COVID-19
CHATTOGRAM, April 2, 2021 (BSS) – Chattogram district senior election officer Ataur Rahman died of COVID-19 at a hospital in Dhaka on Friday.
He was 45.
He breathed his last at about 2am while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital in the capital Dhaka, Chattogram Regional Election Officer Mohammad Hasanuzzaman told BSS today.
Ataur Rahman had been suffering from flu-caused disease since March 23. He was tested positive after testing corona sample on March 25.
Later, he was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital on March 29.
Ataur was shifted to ICU of Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital on Thursday evening, Hasanuzzaman added.
The district senior election officer is survived by his wife and two children.
