IS militants behead Taliban commander in N. Afghanistan: official
SHIBERGHAN, Afghanistan, July 18, 2018 (BSS/XINHUA) – Militants loyal to
the Islamic State (IS) captured and beheaded Taliban senior commander Mullah
Burjan on Wednesday as fierce fighting has been continuing between the rival
groups over the past one week in Darzab district of northern Afghanistan’s
Jawzjan province, provincial government spokesman Reza Ghafoori said.
