2 held with 1450 pieces Yaba in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, March. 30, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) -4 arrested two people with 1450 pieces of Yaba from Saturia bus stand today
The arrestees were identified as Abir Hossain, 23, son of late Abdul Zabbar of village Natuabari under Daulatpur upazila of the district and Arif Hossain, 30 son of Farhad Hossain of the same village.
RAB-4 sources said acting on secret information, they arrested Abir Hossain who was returning from Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar carrying 1450 pieces of Yaba in his stomach.
At the same time RAB also arrested Arif Hossain who was waiting to receive the contraband pills from Abir.
RAB – 4 Company Commander (ASP) Yunu Mong said the accused Abir confessed that he has swallowed 1450 pieces of Yaba tablets in his stomach which were wrapped up in polythene.
The Yaba tablets were taken out from the stomach of Abir at Manikganj 250 beds Hospital , the sources said.
