JAMALPUR, March 30, 2021 (BSS)- Muslim community of the district observed the holy Shab-e-Barat, the night of fortune and forgiveness, amid due religious fervour on Monday night.
Devotees of the community spent the night offering special prayers and reciting from the Holy Quran seeking divine blessings from Allah, the almighty, for peace and progress of their families and relatives.
A good number of devotees passed the whole night amid special prayers in various mosques of the district. Many of them left the mosques after saying Fajr prayers.
Besides, the devotees also
visited the graves of their near and dear ones and offered special munajat there for eternal peace of the departed souls.
Maulana Nazrul Islam ‘Khatib’ of PTI mosque in the town conducted Munajat seeking divine blessings for the greater unity of the Muslim Ummah and continued progress and welfare of the country.
