CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 30, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged arms peddler with two foreign-made pistols, four magazines and 10 rounds of bullet from Shibganj upazila in the district early today.
The arrested was identified as Md. Kajal, 19, of Dogacha Hapania village under Tanore upazila in Rajshahi district.
On a tip-off, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Lahalamari village under Chakkirti union of Shibganj upazila of the district around 1,20 am and nabbed Kajal with the arms and ammunition.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case.
