Bangladesh to be a developed state by 2041: Khalid

MYMENSINGH, March 29, 2022 (BSS) – State Minister of Cultural Affairs K M Khalid has said Bangladesh is heading towards becoming a developed state by 2041 under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“The country achieved the final recommendation for Bangladesh’s transition to a developing nation from least-developed country status. And the nation is heading towards becoming a developed state by 2041,” the state minister said this while addressing a two-day development fair as the chief guest held at Circuit house ground here on Sunday.

He said our Prime Minister has been working round-the-clock to materialize the ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The anti liberation forces are still active and they are hatching conspiracy against the country, he said.

In this regard, the state minister urged all to be united against the conspirators and faced them unitedly.

Mymensingh district administration organised the fair as part of the countrywide programme with deputy commissioner Md Enamul Huq in the chair.

The function was addressed, among others, by Mayor of Mymensingh City Corporation Ekramul Haque Titu, Divisional Commissioner Md Kamrul Hassan, DIG of police Harun-or-Rashid, Chairman of Zilla Parishad Yousuf Khan Pathan, President of city AL Ehatashemul Alam and Secretary of district AL Muzzam Hossain.

Later, a cultural function was held at the same venue.

A total of 77 stalls were setup in the fair.
