Bus-trailer collision leaves 5 killed, 12 injured in Pakistan’s Punjab
ISLAMABAD, March 28, 2021 (BSS/Xinhua) — At least five people were killed
and 12 others injured when a bus collided with a trailer on Sunday in
Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province, local media reported.
The road accident happened in the wee hours of Sunday in the Sheikhupura
district of Punjab, the reports said, adding that the victims have been
shifted to hospital.
Road accidents are quite frequent in Pakistan mainly due to poor roads,
badly maintained vehicles and unprofessional driving.
