Bangladesh get Nepal in Tri-Nation Cup final

DHAKA, March 27, 2021 (BSS)- Bangladesh finally got Nepal in the final of the Tri-Nation Cup after they played out to a goalless draw with the hosts in their second match of the tournament held today at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu. The final between the two sides will be held on Monday (March 29) at the same venue at 5.30 pm (NST).

Bangladesh earlier confirmed their spot of final with three points following their 1-0 win against Kyrgyzstan Olympic team in the tournament opening match.

Nepal confirmed the final spot with two points. The hosts earlier shared one point with Kyrgyzstan after playing out to a goalless draw in their opening match.

However Nepal needed only one point from this match to secure their place of final of the tournament.

Rohit Chand of Nepal was given the man of the match award for his impressive performance in the match.

Regular skipper Jamal Bhuyan, who did not play the Bangladesh’ s first match against Kyrgyzstan, today captained in the team’s second match against Nepal .
