One held with 567 bottles phensidyl in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 27, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 567 bottles of contraband Indian
phensidyl from Shibganj upazila in the district this morning.
The arrested was identified as Md. Babu Ali, 23, of Shialmara Modhyapara
village under Shahbajpur union in Shibganj upazila.
On a tip-off, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp
conducted a raid in a mango orchard of Shialmara Modhyapara village under
Shahbajpur union around 5.5 am and nabbed Babu with the contraband drugs.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana
with a case.
