Ongoing vacation of educational institutions may extend: Moni
DHAKA, March 25, 2021 (BSS) – The ongoing vacation of primary, secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions may be extended till the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday in coordination with the closure of universities.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said this in response to a question from reporters after a discussion on the occasion of Genocide Day at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital today, said a release issued here.
“The decision may be taken if the rate of Coronavirus infection continues to rise,” she said.
Moni also said that the decision on the matter would be taken after a meeting with the National Advisory Committee today and would be informed by tomorrow.
