DHAKA, March 24, 2021 (BSS) – The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have
chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate golden jubilee of country’s
independence on March 26.
The daylong programmes include hoisting of national flag atop all central
buildings and residential halls at 6 am, assembly at Aparajeyo Bangla at 6 am
and procession towards National Memorial to pay tributes at 6.15 am.
All the programmes will be held maintaining social distance and health
guidelines, said a DU press release today.
Besides, a special munajat will be offered after Zohr prayers at central
mosque of the university and at other Upasanaloys (places of worship) on the
campus.
Marking the day, Curzon Hall and TSC will be illuminated with different
coloured lights, the release added.
