Ex-FBCCI vice president Abul Kashem passes away

DHAKA, July 17, 2018 (BSS) – Abul Kashem Ahmed, former first vice president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), passed away in a city hospital today.

He was 74.

Abul Kashem, also was the founder president of the Tangail Chamber of Commerce, was undergoing treatment at Lab Aid Hospital. He breathed his last at about 9 am, his son Benzir Ahmed Tito said.

He had been suffering from tumor related illness for the last one year.

The former FBCCI ex-vice president left behind his wife, only son, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

The Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased was held at Ramna Police Station Mosque after Asr prayers.

He will be buried at Shahjahanpur Graveyard in the city after Maghrib prayers today.
