One held with heroin, yaba in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 23, 2021 (BSS)-Members of Border Guard Bangladesh
(BGB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 600 grams of heroin and 232 yaba
tablets from Shibganj frontier last night.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Akbar Ali, 20 of Chakpara
village under Shibganj upazila of the district.
BGB said, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of BGB from Chakpara border
out post raided frontier Chakpara area in front of Naldubi Highschool at 9:30
pm and arrested Akbar Ali with 600 grams of heroin and 232 pieces of yaba
tablet.
Later BGB handed him over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case.
