Speaker condoles death of Janakantha editor Masud
DHAKA, March 22, 2021 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin
Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of
veteran journalist and the editor of Daily Janakantha Mohammad Atikullah Khan
Masud.
In a message of condolence, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed
soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Besides, Deputy Speaker Advocate Md Fazle Rabbi Miah and Chief Whip Noor-
E-Alam Chowdhury also condoled the death of Masud and conveyed deep sympathy
to the bereaved family.
Atikullah Khan Masud died at Evercare Hospital here this morning at the age
of 71. The veteran journalist had been suffering from respiratory problem for
long.
