RAB arrests JMB man in capital
DHAKA, July 17, 2018 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) earlier today
arrested an active member of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen
Bangladesh (JMB) and fugitive accused of several cases from Dakkhin Kawla
area under Airport Police Station.
“Acting on tip-off, a team of RAB-1 arrested Abu Bakar Siddique, 25, from
Dakkhin Kawla area at around 12.30 am today,” Senior ASP of RAB-1 Samira
Sultana told BSS.
Siddique, from Dinajpur, is wanted in two cases lodged with Airport and
Motijheel police stations.
Rab sources said the JMB man has confessed his involvement in different
crimes in the primary interrogation.
