Common people reaping benefits of PM’s 10 initiatives: Speakers

RANGPUR, July 17, 2018 (BSS) – The common people have started reaping
benefits of the 10 special initiatives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as
implementation of the initiatives continues on way to attain sustainable
development goals (SDGs).

The observations came today at a documentary film show organised by
District Information office under the “Strengthening the Publicity for
Development of Rural People” project at Fatepur High School auditorium in the
outskirts of the city.

The project is aimed at materialising the PM’s 10 special initiatives to
speed up development of the rural people and helping the government’s
development programmes and checking, child marriage dowry, terrorism and
militancy.

Senior District Information Officer Md Humayun Kobir attended the function
as the main resource person with Chairman of the School Governing Body and
Councilor of Ward No-13 Zakaria Alam Shiplu in the chair.

Member of the School Governing Body Marfat Ali, Headmaster of Fatepur High
School Md Rabiul Islam and its Assistant Teacher Shamima Akhter, addressed as
invited guests.

In his speech, Kobir discussed the successes already achieved by the
government in implementation of the Vision 2021, Charter of Changes,
digitisation and PM’s ten special initiatives to accelerate pace of national
development.

He narrated positive impacts of the PM’s ten special initiatives of ‘Ektee
Bari, Ektee Khamar’ project, Asrayan Prokalpo, digital Bangladesh, education
assistance, women empowerment, electricity at every home, social safety,
community clinic and mental health, investment development and environment
protection programmes.

Kobir discussed the successes achieved in the education, health,
agriculture, social safety-net, poverty alleviation, power generation, road
communication, women and children development, women empowerment and
digitisation and ICT sectors.

He mentioned the successes like self-reliance in food, strengthening local
government, self-employments, producing skilled human recourses, prevention
of militancy, terrorism, drug abuse, dowry, child marriage and superstitions.

The Headmaster lauded the huge successes achieved by the government in
implementing the PM’s ten special initiatives and other development
programmes to improve life standard of the common people.

Shiplu stressed on proper implementation of the PM’s ten special
initiatives to build a middle income nation by 2021, developing nation by
2024 and achieve the SDGs by 2030 on way to build a developed country by
2041.
