Tomorrow’s Bangabandhu centenary celebration theme `Dhongsostupe Jiboner Gan’
DHAKA, March 20, 2021 (BSS) – The nation will celebrate the fifth day of the ten-day programme of the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and golden jubilee of the Independence with the theme ‘Dhongsostupe Jiboner Gan’.
Television channels, including the state-run BTV, alongside their streaming online and social media will telecast the programme live from the National Parade Square in the city, said a press release.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will deliver the welcome speech and moderate the function.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and historian Dr Syed Anwar Hossain will take part in a discussion on the theme.
At the discussion session, recorded video messages of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on behalf of the King of Jordan will be played.
At the cultural function, a recorded cultural function of China will be played.
A number short documentaries including animation on ‘Mujib Chirantan’ will also be played in the event.
It will be held from 5.15pm to 8pm.
